NHSIE administers down payment assistance programs for the cities of Banning, Rancho Cucamonga, Highand and Riverside. We also work closely with the City of San Bernardino down payment assistance program.

The programs are generally for low to moderate income households.

These programs as well as our Community Fund and CalHome, can help homebuyers make a down payment on a home of their own.
2006 Fact: NHSIE originated over $1 Million in Down Payment Assistance loans and grants.

Steps to Home Ownership:

Step 1: Review Down Payment Program guidelines listed above
Step 2: Call NHSIE at 909-884-6891 to register for required course(s)
Step 3: Contact a loan officer on NHSIE’s Approved Lenders List
Step 4: Submit NHSIE’s Down Payment application
Step 5: Once approved, go shopping for a home.
