NHSIE administers down payment assistance programs in the Inland Empire to assist first time buyers achieve their dream of Homeownership. NHSIE administers the programs for the cities of Highland and Rancho Cucamonga, as well as works closely with the city of San Bernardino. In addition to these city programs, NHSIE through its Calhome and Homestart programs can provide downpayment assistance to first time buyers in any city within San Bernardino and Riverside counties.

Step 1: Review Down Payment Program guidelines listed above
Step 2: Call NHSIE at 909-884-6891 to register for required course(s)
Step 3: Contact a loan officer on NHSIE’s Approved Lenders List
Step 4: Submit NHSIE’s Down Payment application
Step 5: Once approved, go shopping for a home.
