2008 COURSE SCHEDULE

• Homebuyer Orientation

Orientation is the first class of NHSIE’s pre-purchase series. As part of NHSIE’s CommunityWorks curriculum, Orientation is designed to enroll families in the homeownership process while giving them valuable information about becoming a homeowner. Families will gain insight on topics such as down payment assistance programs, mortgage loans, and credit repair services.  This is a 2 hour class.

• Financial Fitness

Financial Fitness is part of NHSIE's HUD-approved homebuyer and homeowner education program. Financial Fitness aims at educating first-time homebuyers on credit management and credit resolution in preparation for homeownership. This is a 8 hour class.

• Home Buyer Education

Homebuyer Education is part of NHSIE's HUD-approved homebuyer and Homeownership Promotion Program. Homebuyer Education is designed to educate first-time homebuyers on the homeownership process and to promote exceptional homeowners that will safeguard their property.  This is a 8 hour class.

• Home Maintenance A

Post Purchase A is part of NHSIE’s homebuyer and homeowner education program. It is designed to promote responsible homeowners that will maintain their property and meet the challenges of homeownership. The result is vibrant neighborhoods.  This is a 4 hour class.

• Home Maintenance B

Post Purchase B is part of NHSIE’s homebuyer and homeowner education program. It is designed to promote responsible homeowners that will maintain their property and meet the challenges of homeownership. The result is vibrant neighborhoods.  This is a 4 hour class.
