Contractor Qualifications

Thank you for your interest in becoming an approved Specialty and General contractor for Neighborhood Housing Services of the Inland Empire, Inc. (NHSIE).

NHSIE has a contract with the City of San Bernardino (City) to administer the Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resale Program (ARR), Single Family Residence Rehabilitation Loan Program and Mobile Home Program. We also have a contract with the Town of Apple Valley for the Neighborhood Stabilization Program.

Please return the application with copies of the following:

  1. California State License
  2. Workers Compensation Insurance, $1,000,000
  3. Liability/Automobile Insurance of $1,000,000 (NHSIE will have to be added as an additional insured party)
  4. Federal Taxpayer Information Form (W-9)
  5. Contractor and Subcontractor Demographic Information
  6. EPA Renovator Certification
  7. City Business where you are awarded the job
  8. Before and after photos with addresses of recent projects
